The Seafield Arms-Cullen Hotel

The staff is knowledgeable, the breakfast is satisfactory.

The room was nice modern and newly renovated with an electric kettle, a personal safe and central heating.

Recently renovated and clean hotel, absolutely perfect and good location within walking distance of shops & beach. Location just off the centre as well as the Bistro. A short walk from Bin of Cullen and other...  

Its superior king room was new-fashioned with the fan in the bathroom, huge curtains, as example. The location was central, close enough to the bar/restaurant, the town square and Cullen for years.

The ambiance was inviting, complemented by very good decor and comfortable rooms. The friendly staff enhanced the experience, and the selection of malt whiskies was excellent. The buttery croissants at breakfast were a good treat, although I wished for a broader dinner menu to explore. While the stay was positive, a few improvements could enhance future visits.

Great food and comfortable bed, but king size didn't feel like expected.

Lovely room, lovely food, with a spacious and quiet bathroom providing a comfortable stay and a really good breakfast made to order that included a wide selection of pastries and smoked salmon.

The ground floor suite was spacious and well-appointed this made it easy for us to relax we appreciated the thoughtful wet room design. The staff showed genuine care and attention to detail particularly on our Anniversary our special dessert...

The bar area offers a contemporary vibe with stylish decor, great for unwinding after a long day's travel. The gin Pomona stood out as a unique signature drink that perfectly complemented the meal.

Check-in revealed a bit of confusion regarding room assignments. I initially booked a suite but ended up in a smaller room advertised as an upgrade. The breakfast selection was disappointing, especially with limited cold items and missing towels on one occasion. Dining options were restricted due to the main dining room being closed during the week, forcing us to eat out instead. The lack of milk in the room meant no morning cuppas without venturing out. Not ideal for a leisurely start.

The dinner and breakfast were really good, and the modern bathroom was very good. We found the room cozy and well-maintained, and despite being a bit small, it had all essentials for a pleasant stay.

The room was quite small for the price.

Had a lovely time exploring Cullen and appreciated the warm service at the Seafield Arms. While the veggie cottage pie was disappointing and lacked flavor, the seafood dishes my friends enjoyed compensated for it. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff attentive.

Be sure to ask about the homemade desserts. they are a delightful surprise and quite the treat during your stay.

A Nice Getaway with a Few Hiccups

The chef customized meals to address dietary needs, a lifesaver. Breakfast featured delicious options. Service could improve, as we faced some issues with coffee presentation. Hopefully, they refine this aspect before our next visit!
